Rod founded People Positive in 1989. He is an experienced consultant, skilled trainer, creative facilitator and coach. Rod is confident and articulate and brings passion and humour alongside his significant experience to any event he is involved with. As a facilitator he takes a hands-on practical approach with the experience of knowing when to challenge and when to support.
Over the past 35 years he has worked globally at Board level through to frontline staff level, including offshore, in areas such as Behavioural Safety, Leadership & Team Development, Alliancing & Partnering, Strategic planning and Change Management. Rod has been a consultant to many major companies including Shell, BP, Technip, Network Rail, Balfour Beatty, DfT, TfL, Nexen, Exxon Mobil, Hess, RePower, Jacobs, TAQA and E-On, to name a few. Many of these interventions have been around major International and UK infrastructure projects where creating and sustaining positive attitudes, establishing aligned business goals, managing diverse multi cultural issues and maintaining effective interfaces have been the key to a powerful outcome.
