Project Description
Neil comes from a background in outdoor education and the voluntary sector where he has spent many years in young people’s training and development. Although graduating as a Soil Chemist, he very quickly moved in to youth work. Whilst working primarily with young people he set up a number of businesses to run Youth Projects. Seeing this as a logical step forward, he studied for an MBA with The Open University and in 2001 set up his own business and started working as a consultant with PP. He also has an interest in Sound, and works in the highlands as a part time semi-pro sound engineer.
When not working, he is often helping with young people’s projects or working his croft near Elgin. He has a passion to be ‘out on the water’; both sailing and power-boating and part of the summer each year is spent providing safety cover for a number of sailing events based out of Findhorn on the Moray Firth.
