I have first-hand experience of seeing how transformational coaching combined with a deep understanding of emotional intelligence can be for individuals from private to public sector or those starting their career or re-engaging after a period of absence.
For me a love of the outdoors translated into being a geologist, which soon turned into a passion for team working, with the people element evolving until I found myself in a learning & development environment and latterly a senior Global HR Leader in one of Forbes most innovative global companies .
I have 20+ years team management, leadership, coaching, mentoring and training experience involving planning; developing; organising and motivating others. Additional insight has come from extensive global business travel and client interaction in technical oil & gas roles followed by several years in Learning & Development and as part of a Senior HR Leadership team focussed on transformation.
I hold a strong belief in identifying key strengths and talents in others and using those to be successful. I’m passionate about helping others learn, develop and progress in life and how a creative approach to behavioural change can produce business and personal results.
I am a qualified Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) trainer and an active member of the Institute for Management Studies (IMS). I hold the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) qualification in executive level coaching and mentoring and am qualified in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Life Coaching.
